Partendo da dove il Cesano inizia a costeggiare la strada (m. 560) lungo il S.I., saliremo sul panoramico crinale di Costa Calecchie, fino a sotto il Corno di Catria\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (m. 1140); lasciato il S.I., si scende \u00a0sotto la Balza dell&#8217; Aquila dove ci son le prime cascate del Cesano.
